I was just talking about that cab today to my friend Brandin Stroy.
I sold the cab to him and he sold it to a guy in Dallas, we both want it back.
The thing about that cab is that it sounded amazing but was way to heavy to really move around.
It was like having your own high end bass PA!
That was a great cab but I am really enjoying an old Epifani 212 side by side cab that I picked up a few months ago. It is a great in between cab.
I have basically 2 rigs:
Big:
Aguilar DB680 pre into DB720 power amp OR DB 750
into Aguilar DB810 cab
Sounds amazing, makes me smile when I stand in front of it etc...
Small:
Walter Woods into Epifani UL112 or 212NYC
Sounds amazing, makes me smile when I have to pick it up
All that to say, I do miss the Anthony Jackson cab I had because of its uniqueness and power handling but I am very lucky to have some great gear right now that I just love!
I need to do a big gear family portrait for a christmas card this year........ no that would not make my wife too happy!
