Has Anyone Put A New Pre-Amp In A Warwick Dolphin

Sign in to disble this ad
Here is the scoop. I have a 03 Warwick Dolphin that I think I want to change the pre-amp in. What I need is to see if anyone has actually done this, and what did they put in it. I was thinking about an Aguilar OBP-2. The problem is Aguilar says you have to use a pot with a certain value. The Dolphin has a unique set up where if you pull the concentric 100Kvalue bass/treble knob it splits the rear pick up. I want to keep this feature. What would happen If I use the original pots regardless? And are there any pre-amps that would plug into the original wires inside the bass?

Am I the only one who has thought about this?

Wrong place. Try the Pickups or the Basses forums.
