The other piece of the puzzle I haven't mentioned yet is the Darkglass B7K, which is the base of the distorted tone I use.
Cheers! | Nice!!
I'm running a 2 RBI setup for a clean/dirty rig but I'm thinking of going to axe fx once I can afford it.
I just picked up a dingwall too actually, was pretty stoked to see those slanted frets. What kind of strings are on your bass? I haven't had to re string it yet but want a nice tone that can get nice and aggressive, sounds like whatever you're using is working! |

Pretty cool of Adam to drop by and answer a few questions. | Cheers! There's a lot going on in that song but to be honest its bark is worse than its bite Quote:

He went as far as to calculate the ideal gauges/tensions for each of the tunings I use and had the basses set up with the resulting sets out of the factory.
I really like the CK strings, the only problem is the turnaround time on orders seems to be very long - it took close to 6 weeks for the last order to arrive (bear in mind I am in the UK though). I need to find a better solution because it's less than ideal! |

You can hear the just sound recorded by the GoPro during the breaks and for the very last note, but the rest is the direct sound from my Axe-FX against an instrumental mix of the album track. The GoPro audio is still in there at all times though. |

Not really, my signal chain is fairly simple. I do use a compressor to get some extra punch but other than that it's just a simple split clean/distortion setup. |

| | | | I love periphery!!!! The tone on the second album is awesome. Nolly is a good bassist and producer.
I like erised a lot, that was done with an active jazz bass(I saw him post stuff about it). He used multiscales and some warwicks.

Just to clarify, the album was tracked with a Mayones Jabba Classic 5 for the most part, and a chromed-out Warwick Thumb 6 for the lowest-tuned songs. I didn't have my Dingwalls at that point otherwise I would have used those exclusively |

I mean, it actually has (several), but what's "the point" of your post, except being a killjoy? |

But would they not ask 'what is the point of all this(life in general)' rather than worrying about some guy filming his fingers?
If life starts to revolve around some guy filming his fingers, I'd start to worry .
