Help with bass identification in song.

Anyone know what bass might have been used by Faith No More, particularly in the song the morning after. Just curious if anyone knew. I would like to try and emulate that particular sound for bass.

Or how i might best run my pickups or controls on bass or amp head to get close to that kind of sound. Thanks.
