Help me identify Mike Gordon's strap!

This has been driving me crazy for such a long time that I've finally decided to start a thread and see if anyone can help me along. In my ongoing obsession with Mike Gordon and everything related to him I haven't been able to find out this bit of info! On wiki (ooh, yeah) it says that Mike has used Couch straps ( http://www.couchguitarstraps.com/ ), but they offer limited custom work.

I'm assuming it is a fully custom strap, but where was it created?

It's hard to find a photo from the back (I just found one!), but when I saw him I noticed that his strap is either non-adjustable or slightly adjustable, with a buckle instead of the loop, etc.

Here are some photo's of the front, one of the back:

That's what a good amount of the Red Monkey straps look like...I'm figuring he just did a custom build. El Dorado's are very nice, I bet if I sent any number of them the photos they would be able to at least make a close approximation to Mike's strap. Red Monkey seems to be the closest in stitching and color, however. Maybe he talked to them. I think I'll email them!

It looks like a strap from Italia Straps. I have 2 of them and they are really nice.

Doug at Red Monkey just made me two straps and I am sure they can make a strap exactly like the one you want.

Could be an Eyeland custom strap ... hard to tell

Personally I'm way more wondering what he is using the YAMAHA Subkick for ...

Yeah I see how he is using it ...

But it's actually a kick drum mic made to capture sub lows from a kick drum, never seen one used on a bass rig

But then again what do I know about bass speakers?
