A co-worker and fellow bass player was playing Ronnie Milsap's "Stranger in My House" this morning and we were both impressed with the bass player's growl-y sound.

All Music turned up nothing and a Google search wasn't much better. Any ideas?

Maybe? Looks old enough to be around in the 80s.

Might also have been Larry Paxton, top studio guy who is on Ronnie's laetst CD.
