Should be a blast. You should give us a review sometime next week.

You're in for a treat. I caught Scott Henderson years ago with
Chick Corea's Elektric Band. Wow,

The show was incredible.
They had some trouble getting to the show as their rent-a-van was mistakenly filled with diesel.
They were a bit late getting there and had to set up and soundcheck in front of all of us. Which was pretty cool. Jeff played a short version of the US national anthem, and I mean short, the first six notes of it, followed by the last six notes of the song. Really funny how he did it. Then they were done tuning up and Jeff said he's ready (played two notes out of tune with each other and I was in tears)
They told lots of jokes between songs and Mike Clark was really cracking me up. All three were in a great mood.
The show was just mindblowing. They played Actual Proof and I was standing on the front (their left) side of the stage, about ten feet from his kit. MAN he hits hard! For a guy that turned 65 today (we all sang him happy birthday too) he sure delivers it on the drums.
Lots of great music including Giant Steps among others with incredible solos from all three all night.
Seeing Jeff Berlin live was the icing on the cake for me.
Blows through stuff so effortlessly. And a real nice tone from his little MarkBass combos.
He played Tears in Heaven and the chording was just beautiful.
Scott Henderson absolutly tore it up as well. I was just smiling all night standing there watching pure musical genius wearing my Tribal Tech shirt.
After the show I got the chance to talk with all three of them and they weren't in any hurry to get out of there. I got Jeff to sign my Allan Holdsworth Road Games LP jacket (already had Holdsworth's and Wackerman's sigs on there so all I needed was Jeff's) and Jeff also signed my copy of Champion.
Scott told me that the new Tribal Tech album will be out around January. I asked if they will tour and he said probably not. Bummer!
Either way I thanked all of them for all of the great music they have given us and left there a very happy concert-goer.

I've seen lots of great shows and this one is right there at the top.
Just a great night and a great performance.

I saw Jeff 3 or 4 times with Bruford - he's one the best (if not the best) players around. A total badass.

I'd love to see him with Scott Henderson. I actually know Scott from way back when. He lived in Toledo for a while, as did I. Great cat - super talented.

I heard they played up in Dayton after the fact...

Saw them in Buffalo, NY, last week. Great show, but started an hour late. The opener, a band named Marbin, was also very good. I'm glad Henderson came back to Buffalo at all as the last time I saw him here it was in a crappy club that was undergoing some renovations. The ceiling was literally crumbling in bits onto the stage and audience. Worse, his amp started picking up a nearby country station (I kid you not). It looked like he was having the worst night of his life, though I'm sure everybody in the audience was also a musician and sympathized.
