Nikki Sixx. We hear nothing about him on TB other than he occasional slag.
Am I the only one who got into Motley when I was younger, and still digs what Sixx does with Crue and with Sixx:AM (very under-rated band if you ask me)?

Let's see where this goes...

Ha!! Ive never been a troll before. Just wanted to see if anyone was willing to admit that they dig Sixx.
Personally, Sixx:AM's cd has been in my car for months. It's really a well written album, albeit a little depressing and self-absorbed.

Troll? Nah. But I aspire to be.

It's all good. Anyone that gets upset from name calling in an Internet forum has more issues than we have time to discuss.

Anyone else?

Side question: who did you like better? Neil or Corabi? Personally I'd have liked to see Corabi get a better shot. The album they did with him had some great stuff on it, very dark.

Darn it... I was really hoping that this was going to be a thread about SX's because no one ever talks about them anymore.

I'm not crazy about Sixx AM. I like maybe two of the tunes on the album. After hearing Life Is Beautiful I was actually looking forward to it but disappointed when I did.

I really liked him live back in Cruefest, but Vince's voice kinda detracted from my overall enjoyment unfortunately, not to mention Buckcherry's singer was more coked up than Tony Montana.

But yes, he's got some pretty good lines, and I love his sig bass.

I always liked his no frills approach, just drop that E to D and roll like a steam engine!!! Then again i am also a Marcus Miller and Billy Sheehan fan so i guess i am a little broad minded

I think if you replace anyone in that band with another player it's not the same vibe....Corabi's version WAS darker, but some newer crue stuff got a little darker too, but Vince's voice makes it sound like crue...Saints of Los Angeles is a really good song but put Corabi on the mic and it would be a whole different vibe, IMO

Agreed. I've always thought Neil was a bit of a douche. I thought Saints was a pretty good album.

I met them on their spandex explosion tour,Theatre Of Pain 1985, LOL! Vince was kinda creepy, but Nikki was really cool, he talked with us for a few minutes and took some photos.
