| | Registered User | | Join Date: Dec 2002 Location: Germany | | | Sounds like what I get when I combine the synth wah and fuzz patches of my Zoom B21.u, I really wouldn't play entire songs with this type of tone because it tends to get lost underneath heavy guitars (or at least in my band it does) but whatever floats his boat.

But I do think sometimes he uses to much fuzz, sounds a little bit too dirty. |

Not too familiar with Mastodon so I dunno if he's playing basslines or following the guitar but it's a pretty cool style either way.

Yorks, England | | | Yeah I couldn't make anything out at all before, but hearing the guitars soloed he adds pretty much all the low end to the guitar sound overall between the 3 of them, the guitars sound a hell of alot more crunchy then I thought they'd be so it's a really cool mix they've got.
