Sign in to disble this ad
I am doing an article and need help. Hard to find info on the net even. Got a couple of leads I haven't checked out yet.
Anyway, can anybody help me out with any blues bassist that came before Willie Dixon.
And Who were the first guys to play blues on recordings using the Fender bass?
Thanks. suggestions welcome.

There were Blues Bassist before Willie Dixon.
Willie's impact was huge.
Ransom Knowling, and Big Crawford, were two other upright blues bassist.
Dave Myers, was one of the first to record with a Fender bass for blues.
Jerome Arnold, Rollow Radford, Jack Myers, were early electric blues players.
Even though it's the 1970's Keith Ferguson, of the Fab, T-Birds,
was big in bringing back that Texas blues style.
He taught everyone how to dress, and look cool.
