I'm in the house band for the week-end,

We're backing up guest stars and providing groove and energy to the fans during the show and intermissions.

I'm just a working bass player

I'm just a fan too

I'm happy for him because he did get some applause after his record and + he did it for a humanity cause. In the morning and even in the presentation he got booh and it didn't feel right. I know there is a big deal between the CH and Bruins and I think the fans got over it and respect the talent and effort the and goods of the "rivals".

Man, the guy should be a basket player he is so tall...... lol,

So, was that you playing before the player intros? The medley with the organ player? I was listening and remember thinking "Hmm, that bass player has a nice tone going..." Congrats on a cool gig!

Oh, and GO STARS!!

Hey Thanks man,
Actually I was a bit scared because I've been playing the same custom 5 strings for 20 years on all the local and national shows plus the Tonight show 5 times with Celine and I got a new Fodera NYC last week and decided to go for it even if I didn't test it it before. We didn't have much time to sound check so I guess the bass is up to the tasks LOL,

Yes for Gordie being the player having the most All-Star game participations,

but..........what about the two Detroit players that didn't show up at the all-stars game voted by the fans..........They got one game suspension.

I think this is a shame to the fans,

It would be the same as if VW been voted MVP and doesn't show up at the award night IMHO,

Lidstrom and Datsyuk were both injured so they weren't going to play anyways. I know Bettman thinks they should be there to represent the league and such but Lidstrom has a wonky knee so it would be better for the team that pays him millions to rest it.
Besides the Wings play the Blue Jackets next and there in a dog fight with my Oilers so not having Lidstrom or Datsyuk will be an advantage for CBJ .

Congrats on th gig!
Life Long Leaf fan here, 40 years of frustration!
You want to know how hard it is to be a Leaf fan, just consider for a moment, how hard it must be to chear for a team that hasn't won in 40 years! Heck, it's easy to be a Habs fan!
