Very underrated bassist, and an awesome band. Glad they're back, can't wait to watch this dude shred tonight. |

Apparently HWM is playing a show in San Diego a day before my birthday with Unwritten Law and the Vandals. Definitely going to go to that one. Closest they've come to LA so far was some outdoor fest in Irvine. I don't like outdoor punk concerts all that much so didn't go.
Between this and the Paint it Black / Leatherface show in Los Angeles, May is going to be an AWESOME month for me. |

The front page pic on HotWaterMusic.com shows him with an Aerodyne. Some YouTube videos from the release party for "The New What Next" in '04 also have him playing an Aerodyne, and it sounds more like a P than his older ASAT tone on a lot of TNWN. His aggressive, grindy tone with the ASATs is absolutely one of the most killer tones I've ever heard!

They never explained the break up the first time, which was supposed to be a hiatus because Chuck wanted to spend more time with his family. Somehow it concluded with a break up and Chuck lives in Los Angeles currently. |

Got to hang out a few times back stage. the brutal growling bass tone he got out of those G&Ls inspired me to buy my own. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
