| How do I use effects processor but not have it affect my tone?

I am running my bass through guitar gt8. I only want to use the effects. I dont want it to color my tone with there amps and so on. When I turn the amps and eqs off though everything sounds flat. So is there anyway I can get my tone and only have the effect over my tone. Kinda like individual pedals do. |
