So I'm really interested in professionally making bass guitars, how would I learn how to do this, who would I talk to, and what courses would I take in school? |

Or you could try and meet some luthiers and try to apprentice with them. Or just design and build, read books and talk to craftsmen, develep your own thing by trial and error.

Do a search on MIMF and you'll get links. Take a wood shop class at your local college, it helps tons. Also, read everything you can get your hands on regarding luthierie. |
