I just listened to sensitive by Mick. It blew me away. Now ive got to get a fless so i can learn that song.. Whats your fav karn song?

Check out a disc by a band called Dali's Car. It's with Mick Karn on fretless and Peter Murphy on vocals - good stuff! Mick Karn is one of my favorite fretless players.

MK was immensely talented & developed such a distinct sound/style.
I once read about the 2 main factors in shaping the way he played. Initially, he wanted to slide & bend notes like on the violin so he took the frets off his bass. And as his first instrument was the bassoon, which often plays lead melodies, he also applied that principle to his bass.
