Been playing bass for almost 11 years, but the first three years was just noodeling about - then I got theory lessons and learned how to actually play music. I don't feel that I've developed much the last couple of years though.

Here's a recent sound clip (3 tracks bass, nothing else)

Yes.

I can't believe that it's been 35 years! and I'm still having just as much fun with it as I did when I was a teenager.

That sounds like me too....not only was my first good bass a Ric, but I talked my parents into increasing my lunch allowance ("no, really, I can hardly buy ANYTHING with just a dollar!"), spent only .50 a day on a chocolate milk and a peanut wafer bar, and saved the rest of the money to buy all those Rush and Yes records.

Funny, I didn't have a job then but my folks never asked me where I got the money to buy records.
