Huckabee on Leno!

Sign in to disble this ad
I just sat down and my wife was watching Leno. There was Huckabee playing bass with the Late Night band.

He has my vote. 4 strings is as good of a criteria for selecting a politician as anything else I can think of.

(Really not trying to be political.)

Freaking. Sweets.

If I was 4 years older, the man would totally get my vote.

Funny you said that. I saw a clip of him on the news the other day playing his bass. My thinking was along the lines of yours. Ya' gotta' love a bass player! (And before I get lambasted - no, that is not my criteria for voting. Just a joking observation. It's just good to see a politician with such an obvious plus - ie., he's a bass player!)

I hope that nobody really makes their decisions off of those small things.

My Vote

Alright, that seals the deal for me, imagine having a bass playing pres..Yeah I know that is no criteria, so no ragging, but I do think he is an alright sincere guy. I would not miss the IRS.

Clarification - the vote for the bassist comment was just a joke. I take voting a lot more serious. GWB can actually play a few chords on the geetar, but, well, umm, ahhhh. (I will stop now.)

There seems to be a few pics of him floating out there lately. And he's always playing a pretty nice bass. So far, I've seen him with a Tobias and a Hamer Cruise. Haven't heard him - I've heard he's actually pretty good.

This won't get political at all. Nice to have a choice of people to vote for, even if they are "clowns". Oh snap, I got political!

Yeah, I caught that. He can play. He was using a sunburst Jazz--not any of the ones pictured so far. Maybe the bass belonged to the band's bassist?

Anyhow, there are some YouTube videos of him playing with "Capitol Offense."

Every time you see him, it's with a different bass. Almost like he's borrowing them each time. But he sounds great, which is impressive.

I think he is a much better bassist than Clinton was a sax player.

I thought is was good. The clip is real short. It's just after they come back from a commercial break. He played a fairly simple bass line, then took it up the fret board and noodled around a little. It didn't sound like he missed any notes.

At least he doesn't have a cross or jesus sticker on his basses.
