Except for Lemmy.

Seriously... how are we supposed to live up to a guy that ugly, with a voice that cool, in a band that loud, and with a mole like that?

I would like to also nominate Roger Waters in the ugly cool voice category. And how hard must it be to compose songs you really only understand once you're under the influence.

I am going to add to your post

Except for Geddy Lee. How are we supposed to live up to a guy with a high singing voice, in a great 3 man band, play awesome bass and even play Jaco Pastorius' Fender tribute fretless bass on stage live?

How are we supposed to live up to someone who can be drunk, stoned, and headbang like crazy without missing a note like Cliff Burton?

I am a Lemmy fan though, but I prefer his bass work with Hawkwind.

And except for Jack Bruce. Scottish cellist who got thrown out of music school for being too progressive, crazy screechy voice, ugly and handsome at the same time. After being the frontman of a hugely popular band, went crazier and less accessible all the time.

I agree totally!!!!!! THAT mole IS SUPERB!!!! NOT that I'd want it myself, but excellent stuff for a front man/bassist-makes Britney Spears look UGLY!!!!!! well....

I like his comment re recording at the volume they wanted.
Apparently he was in the studio -years ago - & set his Marshall Bass amp up as/ usual....all knobs on 11 !!!! The Producer said " U can't record at that volume!!!" Lemmy " Yes U can, U just gotta TRY harder!!!"
And they did!!!!! & WHAT a result!!!!

And don't forget, take that much speed (and probably everything else) and survive into his 60's???

Some things just can't be understood!

Well, there's one consolation. Lemmy's mole is not black.
