I just saw Rudy over the summer with Blue Oytser Cult, I didn't know that he was playing w/ BOC, so I said to my son "that guy is totally copping Rudy Sarzo, bass and all". After listening more, it sounded exactly like Rudy....hmmm... Turns out it WAS him!! He looked so young that I really thought it was someone else! AWESOME player indeed (and a super cool guy)
