I dont know how long shes been around or if Im just late to the show but....Im in love with Antonella Mazza. I mean, shes a Warwick player...but I think we can work through that. Is it wrong to feel this way about a fellow lowender?

Wow, she is stunning. I'd think there's something wrong with you if you didn't feel kinda goofy about her. And the fact that she plays Warwicks is a bonus.

This is her myspace page: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm...ndID=118545578

She can seriously play!

Off topic: If Tal Wilkenfeld pushed the same image as Antonella Mazza, I could better understand all of the sexual comments about her. That said, although I would enjoy the view, I would still enjoy Ms. Mazza as a player first if I ever had the pleasure to see her play live.

That is definitely one of the nicest Warwick basses around. However, you ain't got a chance with her.

Side note: I don't understand when guys see an attractive woman why they say have "fallen in love." Since the "love" is based on physical attraction, perhaps merhaps wouldn't it be more appropriate to say, "I have a megaboner a fellow bassist, No, not you guys!"?

Ok, you guys are way too literal tonite. Maybe, its not love at this point. Its very possile its....lust. But you must admit she is certainly beautiful. I have always had a super weakness for female musicians and Antonella certainly fits that bill.

She is a free lancer who specializes in jazz, electric and upright. She is not your typical girl band chick although I believe thats where she started.

this is from her site:

Born in june,Gemini, I studied upright bass at G. Verdi Conservatory with teacher Ezio Pederzani, and at the Novara Conservatory with Davide Botto. I received a master degree in Ethnomusicology from D.A.M.S. and also as Sound Designer. I had clinics on electric bass and upright too with Dave Clark and Bruce Geerz from Berklee College of Boston , with John Patitucci, Claude Tchamitchan, Paolo Costa, E.Lo Greco.

Anto's an old friend. We shared a gig during the Chinese Music Show in Shanghai a few years ago. She's a real sweetheart, talented player on both electric and upright, a great cook and married.
