Wasn't "Twiggy" the star of the Ken Russell movie the "Boyfriend" and a model famous for having a flat chest?

Twiggy was a famous British fashion model in the mid-1960s. She was called Twiggy because of her extremely slender physique. I was once mistaken for Twiggy in a shopping center. Geez, that was hundreds of years ago! No one ever mistakes me for her now.

Twiggy Ramirez is the bass player for the Marilyn Manson band and has been almost since the beginning of the band. Names of musicians in the band were originally chosen to be a combination of names of beautiful women and notorious murderers.
Hence Twiggy, the fashion model and Richard Ramirez, the serial killer.

Not exactly. You referred to her lack of curves. Maybe because I am a woman, I didn't relate to her one way or the other by her bra size.

I was just thinking about the song/dance number in the "Boyfriend" about beads hanging straight!

I think it's quite funny that a band member would take her name - in the UK she has been on many womens' TV programmes as a sort of "ultra-nice" presenter - "domestic" issues, like making cakes etc.
