I met Kai Eckhardt today! After a gig (his). Just walked right up. Nice guy! Didn't make too much of an ass of myself, either.

Lately I have been fretting (pun intended) about taking lessons. Mayhap the Universe has responded...

Kai is great teacher.
I studied with him off & on for about 10 years since he moved here in the 90's.

He teaches at your level too. I started on 4 's with him about 10 years ago. And about 3 years ago he suggested I consider 6's and I finally did. fretless & fretted.

Cool! I mixed Garaj Mahal at an absolutely wild wedding gig several years ago at a castle near where I live in Wa. Great band, good peoples...
