I saw Jon Gallant (billy talent) last night in Philly

I saw billy talent last night in Philadelphia last night and it was pretty impressive how solid Jon Gallant playing was live considering that he was jumping, and singing background vocals. The whole band sounded really soog actually.

What do you guys think about his playing (I think it is VERY good for that style of music)?

By the way he played all the concert with a 4 string MM stingray.

ive seen them play in manchester twice now, and he is an nder rated bassist, its nice to see a band like that have a bassist that obviously isnt just a failed guitarist! (i jest i jest) but there are some nice little intricisies in his playing, its not all just root 5 which is the norm.

I do not agree. I feel that the only one that sucks is the singer, but he makes up for it with his energy.

The rest of the band sounds impecable

I have never seen them live, but I hear that they put on a good show. I hate their new cd, but their old cd was really good.

I really dig the guitarist, he's quite talented. The bassist's stuff never jumped out at me, but he's a solid player. I never got around to picking up the second album though.

The guitarist is the most talented one IMHO
