Love this guy's playing and tone. In fact, I can't get enough of it...literally. So, anybody know some players like him that I should check out?

Willie Weeks. I read an Andy Hess interview in a magazine where Andy mentioned Willie having a big influence on his playing.

I saw Hess with Robben Ford and I detected a bit of Jack Bruce in his playing as well... Maybe it was because it was a trio....

I would dig that lineup! I always thought with the reggae influence, Andy was like Rocco meets Robbie Shakespeare.

Sadly, they won't be coming to DC (or anywhere near...)
