I'm so proud........ (bragging dad thread)

While practicing about 6 months ago, I had to jump up to catch a phone call and open the flood gate to relieve some of the practice juice pressure that had built up. I laid my Squire on the couch and when I came back, this is what I found:

His uncle, who's also a bassist, proceeds to come up with a little Austin for his two year b-day back in July.

We have since moved on to mastering vocals (and if you think he didn't figure the basic PA operation out in about 30 mins) and drums.

After Santa brought him a little keyboard for X-mas, I'm having a great old dad time.

PS, I will say that using a 2 year old for mic checks is an exercise in patience though.

Nice ones. Keep them surrounded with music, and leave the rest to them...

Priceless!

My 17 yr old has been playing drums for 5 years and is much further along than I was at that age.

Great shots! My daughter started on acoustic when she was 8. She hated practicing so we stopped the lessons. She started back earlier this year and we bought her a pink strat copy. She quit again and is now playing clarinet in the 6th grade!! So she has 2 guitars hanging on her wall now. Hopefully she'll gravitate back to guitar one day.
