I'm guessing Francis Hylton, but not really sure. Feels like back in the Motown days when they made it really hard to figure out who's playing

Anyways, really like that track and the bass is definitely channeling a nice JJ feel.

Love the song and the groove, just a little surprised that he didn't leave more space to let the snare crack on 2 and 4. But I'd be happy if I could play a fraction that good!

Watch Colibri of Incognito on YouTube !
There is a pretty new live gig video of that song, and he plays very tight bass. Don't know his name but he can definitely play ...

Thanks BowserBass, glad I stumbled onto Ernie McKone, nothing like finding new grooves!

Ernie McKone might be in the film clip but the album credits definitely list Francis Hylton. Ernie only played on 'Capricorn Sun' from the surreal album...

There's a song called "She Wears Black" which used to get played on The Weather Channel which I always liked. I never figured out the bassist on that one either. Incognito has had A LOT of personnel, even from album to album.

Found a clip:

I love the samba-style bridge.
