One of my influences. Actually, they have 2 bassists. Julian Crampton also plays for them, because Randy is a VERY much in demand bassist.

For jazz inflected r&b, Incognito is about as good as it gets. I love Randy Hope-Taylor and Julian Crampton.

I've got "Tribes, Vibes and Scribes" and "Inside life" mixed in my playlist this morning! Killer grooves from all them members of Incognito... past and present. I dig Randy's lines on the 2 tunes he cut with Jamiroquai too.
