Interesting Jaco video

Very eye opening really. I've never been a fan of Jaco's music and as a result I have had a hard time being 'in to' him as a bassist. However this video has very much made me see the kind quality bassist he is and the musicianship he has. I would recomend it for any member of the board who doesn't really like Jaco's music but likes him as a bassist. Or, for that matter, anyone who just wants to see what the Jaco hype is all about. Enjoygasm!

Actually - I always find this video kind of sad and depressing - as it is Jaco at almost the lowest point in his short life....

Yes, when he asks for a gig at the start, makes me sad because although it seems quick witted... I now know better, and that he was serious

I just noticed his right thumb; it's bent back and seems to be about 1/2 inch longer than normal. Was this some kind of deformity?

i think he just had double jointed thumbs, or something like that.
