Any of you guys seen Ivan Neville’s Dumpstafunk live yet? This was my second time to see them live. They were in town last night, and man it was a good show. Although there songs are not very complex musically/harmonically speaking, it doesnt matter. One of the funkiest bands around, great soulful vocals too.Every band needs to have 2 bass players who can play together well. What made it even sweeter, Oteil sat in on a few songs, in which you could tell from all there faces they were havin a blast.......thats all I need to say. Check these guys out!

great band! Ivan and Ian are 2 of my favorite players out there. I've not seen them live but I have seen concert footage and I download every show I see online!

I haven't heard them yet, but... 2 bass players?
Oh well, it must be cool. You can't go wrong with Nevilles!

I saw them last friday for the first time as dumpstaphunk and it should be a crime to have
2 bassmen as funky as them! I didn't know about Tony Hill but now I do, and he plays some mean guitar and can keep up with Nicky and Ivan singin too. They had a woman drummer who had serious pocket and plenty of foot. If they get close to you and you like funk, do everything you can to go!
