Jack Bruce playing a Thunderbird?

Sign in to disble this ad
I skimmed through this old book in this used section of this bookstore in the middle of nowhere today, something like 'Interviews with the greats of Bass Playing'.
They had one with Jack Bruce that unfortunetly wasnt dated but he mentions how he plays his Gibson Thunderbird on stage when need be. I've never heard nor seen anything with Jack Bruce playing a Thunderbird. Does anyone know when he played one or what album?

He never used one in his cream days or before that to my knowledge.

Cream: Fender Bass VI
Gibson EB-3
Upright Bass

Manfreid Mann, Graham Bond Organization: Various hollow body basses, Fender Bass VI, Upright bass

Later Years: Warwick fretless

exactly--not to say he didn't have one, but as far as recordings go, he never recorded with it

He also used a fretless Dan Armstrong/Ampeg and another Dan Armstrong model, there's pictures of it on the "Live '75" album booklet.

Yeah, I think most of Disraeli Gears' bass was on a longhorn. Are there any pictures or bootlegs or anything featuring Jack on a thunderbird?
