Should be interesting. He's got Vernon Reid on guitar this time out.

I'd love to see Jack Bruce, but at those ticket prices. Doesn't he know it's a recession?

I hear you, but it is a small venue. I don't know if the rest of the tour is small places & same price.

I think I'd pay $60 to JB, Vernon Reid, and Bernie Worrell at a small venue. Never seen JB before and he is one of my top favs.

As an aside, to the OP or anyone else, you should check out Stan Ridgeway. He is great, in a different way.

$60 for a concert like JB would be considered cheap over here in England...

Hmmm... I didn't see any mention of Vernon Reid and Bernie Worrell, but yeah, that certainly is a stacked band for sure, and definitely worth the money if I had it.

Between JB in March & The Dead (@$95) in April I'm going to have to skip Stan Ridgeway.

Wow besides Jack they have Les Dudek, Coco Montoya, Roomful or Blues, Ivan Neville and Kim Wilson. That's quite a line up for the month of March.

I caught Jack Bruce with Vernon Reid and Cindy Blackman at the Tokyo Blue Note. It was about $85 plus food, so more like $100. It was worth every penny!

Hmmm.... Jack's website says "No tours are scheduled at this time."

http://www.jackbruce.com/2008/Tours/tours.htm and scroll down to his current band.

Talk in Chicago is that Jack will be at the House of Blues in Late March or Early April, but no dates have been confirmed. BBC radio also is reporting that Jack will perform on Joss Stone's next CD.

Damn, sold out! I would totally pay $60 to see Jack, and anyone that knows me personally knows how much Im obsessed with JB (not in a creepy stalker way). I hope JB does a summer tour soon and comes through Pittsburgh. Unfortunately I was born about 40 years too late to ever see Cream back in their hey day, so I promised that when JB comes here or anywhere near here, Im going!
