Got to see Jack with Hot Tuna the other night. The current tour has an acoustic and an electric set.
Jack is a bass god, IMHOP. The groove never ends, melodic, tasteful, adventurous. I felt like breaking my bass
I can't imagine being able to play like that.
Gearwise, three casady basses, including a lined fretless, acoustic set with an SWR Baby Blue is that the 2X10)?, and electric with an aquilar rig..a 4X10 and some big amp.
Great sound...both were mic'd.
