| | | | Jaco Pastorius Survey Hello fellow bassists, I am current in Year 12 and I have to do a research project to pass.
So I decided to take advantage of this and do a little research on the great Jaco Pastorius, and find out exactly what aspect of his playing people were influenced by the most.
So I was wondering if you would take some time out of your day and fill out this survey for me? http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FMY572M
Please note: I realize that, most of you do play an instrument or two, but the question needs to be there anyway.
"R" is meant to say "R&B" but the site kept changing it.
A lot of this survey assumes you have heard Jaco's first album.
Thanks in advance!
tl:dr Please fill out this survey to help me pass year 12 |

Your survey made me realise I probably heve never listened to Jaco's music as an album. His music came to me song by song.

Your initial post was at 04:56 EDT so it's not completely surprising that it took a few minutes to get a response... Glad to see participants in other parts of the world ! |

I wasn't aware that I listen to so many different genres of music.
Good luck with your survey. |

One methodology comment. Question five says "What is...", present tense, but goes on to say 'Did...", using past-tense. Now my initial reaction to "Donna Lee" is different than what it is now so the responses may not be what you were seeking to find out.
