Y'all DO know that yesterday was 20 years sine Jaco passed away right?
If not, check and listen to this from NPR.

I got my 68 Jazz out last night in memory of Jaco, we were lucky to have him.

I have been reading The book Jaco for the last 2 weeks,and listening to his music for about a week,i knew he died this month, and that it was 20yrs,but i totaly did not remember it was yesterday,anyway, i played a gig last night and took a solo,and the solo just flowed,everyone was telling me, that was your best solo ever,and not to be a ego but i felt it was true,Jaco was and is my inspiration when i play the bass.
