It's great to see they could be back together for the show.

One of my bass heroes and influences. I wonder what's keeping him away from music.

Probably a 5 foot 3 inch guy with long black hair who plays on "standby" every show. (Probably has the all time record for being lost in the mix)

I have seen him play and he is great, but his sound guy is deaf.

I totally agree. I have several of those recordings from livemetallica.com and the bass isn't very mixed very well unless it's a bass solo or Orion. What a sight to see Jason onstage with Metallica again. Fan-freaking-tastic. Can y'all believe it's already been an entire decade since he left Metallica? What is on Jason's shirt? I kinda looks like a Batman-rabbit.

ditto. he's been a huge influence since i started playing 10 years ago. he's also the reason for my pick-heavy playing.

In all seriousness, it IS cool to see him again. I've always been a huge Metallica fan, and I was a big F&J fan back in the day. I think it was a Metallica show in the 80's that was actually the first one I was allowed to go to sans chaperone I've got a signed concert stub from when I met him, very cool guy (especially when you are a kid!)

Don't get me started with Trujillo...I am retardedly ghey for him...quite possibly the biggest waste of talent any band has ever seen. I'm all about the yibba-dabba-dooba-dabba-hey-hey-hey

That said, he would have been insane to not join Metallica

They ALL look terrible, 'cause they're trying to create a new genre of metal – the polar opposite of glam metal – behold...
