Love his stuff. and his alterego, ruiner severhead. his blog is a lot of fun as well. question, when the rest of you guys put outre in your comp, does the media player read his name as "jeff schmid"? my WMP does that, and it's really weird.

He lives in the Bay area and most recently, was seen practicing be-bop lines on his jazz bass.

I love what I've seen of Jeff online. I reckon I'm gonna splash out on his album for xmas. He plays a lot of baritone guitar and picollo bass type-stuff I believe, hence why he gets some very unique sounding basslines. He's based in San Francisco ...I really need to check that place out, some of the best bassists come from there. Must be something in the bay area water!

I got to see him in person at this year's Bass Up in Atlanta - amazing player. He seems like a real cool dude too. Mudita is definitely a favorite track now, it's just so happy!
