Just read a Facebook post by the band saying he had to leave for professional, musical, and scheduling reasons.
Sorry if this is old news. Thoughts?

Maybe the Pestilence commitment is/was too much to stick with both bands?

NO!! This sucks. He's an amazing bassist and really contributed to Obscura's sound. I hope they find another bassist that as good as he was at playing fretless.

The Facebook status asked people for recommendations. A lot of people are saying they should get steve digeorgio or that cannibalisticzombie guy from YouTube.
Whoever they get needs to be pretty darn good.

If they ever end up needing a recording-only guy, I'll try out!

Or better yet, should they decide to relocate to the East Coast and only play shows locally on the weekends

He released a statment saying he couldn't fit it in his schedule. Pestilence is taking priority for him. Not sure why...that new album was no bueno in my book.
