Is anyone else here a fan of Jim Smith from Cardiacs? I'm a fairly recent fan of that band and I've grown to enjoy his bass lines. He does a good job of standing out in such a busy sounding band and, while his playing might not be mind blowing, he adds a nice bit of flair to his bass lines to make them interesting. I think he's a good solid bassist, and he's one of the reasons I picked up this instrument. |
