fugazi is just plain amazing. everyone in that band is a standup musician.

anyone looking for great punk-rock musicians who have evolved over a career in various bands and who are able to evolve their sound each and ever album should check out fugazi.

He's definitely one of my favorites. Very influential in my starting to play.

Yep, he is definitely one of my favorites. He has an absolutely amazing pocket and grand canyon-sized groove.

He creates some great lines, he's the cement in Fugazi's sound.

A perfect fit for the band, one of the main reasons I like Fugazi.

Thumbs up

Not only his Fugazi stuff, but also his work with John Frusciante on the one Ataxia album is great. Frusciante just spaces out for 10 minutes at a time, but Joe...well, when the Earth goes kablooie into a big cloud of dust, the Joe Lally Groove will still be standing, rock-solid as always...
