Joey doesn't play overly technical bass, but I love what he does, plus the the way he sounds like upright.

Any other fans?

He's amazing and I'm not even a big NRBQ fan. His work in the Chuck Berry movie with Steve Jordan and Keith Richards...well, now that's a band. His right hand muting is awesome.

Isn't it Spampinato?

He's great - plays that little dano like an upright. He has a real innate sense of phrasing and comes up with some great groovin parts.
