John King - Great Player Vid

Just dig everything about this guy. The groove and lines tempered with a personality that gives him a natural grace. Very rare. Enjoy.

Very cool, that guy has a great tone and attitude. I'd kill for the right hand technique he has, it's my BIG weakness right now.

John King is from my neck of the woods. He is from East St. Louis, and is a product of that city's great tradition of music education in the high school. He is a sought after teacher. One of his best known students is James Ross, who has a cool YouTube channel that interviews lots of top bassists.

Go to YouTube and check out James Ross' channel and ask him how to contact John. I may have his card somewhere, but I don't know if I can find it.
