In case anyone missed this. Great interview with the man

Sorry if it's been posted before. I know it's promotional, but it is still interesting.

Thanks. Always interesting to see these guys after they've "grown up".

John Paul Jones is absolutely fantastic. He's probably my favourite bassist...

His tone always fits the piece, his skill is unquestionable and unmatched, and he is a great musician overall.
I saw him live once, when TCV came to my town. It was brilliant, really.

Cool interviews, guy!

This video just fills me with joy. I'm only 22 but growing up they were my heroes. They still kick ass. I mean look at page. Hes still got that attitude pouring out when he gets on stage. Just awesome!

I know it's a bass forum. But I have to put this one in the thread. It's too good. He's too good.

I liked him much more after watching that brief video of him giving his sofa-lessons, seems like the kind of guy I'd like to play with.

We're just teasing you mate! JPJ has always been a hero of mine. Forget the playing, I'd just love to sit down and spend some time with him talking. Seems like a real down to earth, fascinating guy!
