John Paul Jones

What kind of bass is Mr Jones using in the new Celebration cd/blue ray show from 2007?

The 4 string three tone burst one, below (reminicent of his old Jazz bass, color wise) was made specifically for the show.

The 8 (10?) string he used for Nobody's Fault But Mine he has had for years, along with many other Mansons, 4,8,10, and 12 string versions.

Manson has released a JPJ signature bass, a 4 stringer, butit does not look like the Celebration Day bass.

Just little things. The body style is the same but the finish on his sig model is different, but maybe there are finish options. The O2 bass has a body end truss rod cover (with his "symbol") and the sig model has no cover. Might be other differences but I am not looking at pictures at the moment.
