I don't think this has been posted as a thread yet, so I thought I'd let everyone know. JPJ is the bassist for the new band Them Crooked Vultures, consisting of Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) on guitar and Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) on drums. There's no music yet other than some terrible YouTube videos, but everyone stay on alert. It should be awesome!!! www.themcrookedvultures.com

I like JPJ's projects... "Sportin' Life" with Diamanda is a killer. |

Hope he plays his 12ver.

Grohl never spoke or sang I don't think. Quote:

Hope he plays his 12ver. | One review I read said he played 4-, 6-, and ( ) 12-string basses. If you go on the forum on their official site, someone posted some Hi-Res pics and there are some with 4- and some with 12-string.
This is really going to be incredible. And I'm kinda liking the viral campaign hyping it. Ready for a full song though...

I was just curious, no real reason for asking except I thought it weird everyone was talking about the 3 main guys (of course) yet there was another guy doing his thing to make the band work. |

| | | | Just for those that don't know, there are multiple videos up of this band from not only Melkweg, but also Pukkelpop that are fairly good quality. It's worth listening to. And for what it's worth, I haven't been so excited about anything music related except for when I got my new bass. |
