John Paul Jones playing an Ibanez Roadstar?

I was at Barnes & Noble last night and they had a big hardcover Zeppelin book on display - toward the beginning was a two-page photo of Zep that looked like it was from the late 70s - JPJ was playing a white Ibanez Roadstar (II?) with P/J configuration. I couldn't see the logo but the distinctive banana shaped headstock and heart-shape tuners gave it away.

I found this interesting because I used to own a bass just like this but never knew he played one, at least not publicly - nor have I ever seen it mentioned on the various lists of JPJ's gear floating around on the internet.

Come to think of it, this must have been a Page/Plant/JPJ reunion in the 80s - I didn't even check to see if Bonzo was there - but I don't think Ibanez made a PJ bass like this til the early 80s.

the Blazer model predated the Roadstar....same shape/configuration though...
i'm no expert, but i'm not aware of any Blazers before 1980....
