| John Paul Jones tone on Celebration day
Hi, first post here. Been reading for about a year.
Does anyone have any idea about John Paul Jones' setup for the recent Celebration Day live release? I read the thread explaining his Manson bass. Is his sound largely attributed to his bass?
I was happily surprised when I first listened to it. Sounds more aggressive, growly, and "big" than older zeppelin stuff. Really reminds me of his stuff with Them Crooked Vulture. I am lovin it.
Do you guys like it or prefer the older sound? Any idea of his rig setup and settings? |
