jones the whos replacement?

i was listing to Q104.3 and they just said the who are going to continue the tour. since plant is opening for the who how knoe what about john paul jones? hes free

No, no, he's not. JPJ is, if I'm mistaken, working on a new album.

Also, JPJ does not get along well with Page and Plant these days. He mentioned being somewhat annoyed that the first he heard of Walking Into Clarksdale was on the radio.

Shortly after that album came out (Walking Into Clarksdale), Led Zeppelin were inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. They each said a few words when they received the award, and when it was JPJ's turn the first thing he said was "I'm glad you guys finally remembered my phone number", a reference to not being called to participate in that album. He was very bitter about it.
