I picked up one of Joseph Patrick Moore's solo albums a few years ago because it had Jimmy Herring on it, I've been a fan ever since.

he was my teacher for a year and I recently took on his students, while he is on tour with Chris Duarte.

JPM is by far the coolest, nicest and most talented cat out there in music today.

Thanks for posting that Jai. I agree that he is definitely one of the nicest and most encouraging people I've ever met. Too bad more people don't know about him.
