I've just been listening to Roots Tonic meets Bill Laswell, Josh has got some killer lines down, the kind of thing that sounds so good it scares me a little!
Top notch production work by Laswell to boot, and yea, the bass thunders. The track JD3 is particularly awesome.

This is what he says about his influences "For me, it’s an homage to players like Flabba Holt [Gregory Isaacs, Israel Vibration], Robbie Shakespeare [Black Uhuru, Sly & Robbie], and "Family Man" Barrett [Bob Marley & the Wailers]. A lot of people get into reggae because they hear bands like No Doubt or Matisyahu. I just hope they’ll also check out where that stuff comes from."
