just watchin' the Princess Diana concert right now and Joss Stone's bassist with his Jazz and flats are kickin butt! Has got to be the deepest/clearest "live" bass tone I've heard come through my little TV speakers.... nuts! |

Rod Stewart's bassist had a JO5, but the bass wasn't very prominent on that song. Like t others said, the mix was outstanding! As is often the case, I was struck by the scarcity of boutique basses on such a big stage. It is just further evidence that a pretty standard instrument can work just fine under about any circumstances.
